Selkirk Mountain Dalmatians

Welcome to Selkirk Mountain Dalmatians! We are nestled in beautiful north Idaho where our dals have ample opportunity to go hiking, swimming, biking, camping, and traveling with us. I value three core principles in breeding; health, temperament, and performance ability. A well bred Dalmatian is one that is even tempered, healthy, and capable of performing in various events or jobs. Dalmatians themselves have been one of the most versatile breeds, and we feel that it is important to continue that versatility. Some people use Dalmatians as service animals, therapy animals, hunting, and competitors in many events including dock diving, tracking, agility, and rally. Our dogs are first and foremost our companions, which means we involve them in nearly every activity we do and they sleep with us each night.
